Swansea Ladies Hockey Club
Squad Information
The Club currently runs several playing sections.
Senior 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI,  Junior Under 18, Under 16 teams.

The 1st XI participates in the English Hockey League South Division. This a very exciting and challenging opportunity for the Club and it is hoping to build on the progress made last season to gain further success.

The team relinquished the Welsh Cup losing to Penarth in a closely fought Final.  Swansea became the Champion Club of Wales when they later defeated Penarth.

The 1st XI represented Wales at the European Clubs Trophy Tournament in Swansea.   Swansea failed to produce a convincing performance and was relegated to the Challenge flight of European competition.  As Champion Club of Wales, Swansea will participate in the 2008 tournament - venue to be confirmed.



The 2nd XI Squad participates in the South Wales Premier Division and after a difficult season retained their place in this competitive league.

The young 3rd XI Squad faired well in the 2nd Division with much success and finished in 3rd place.


The Under 18 Squad participates in various invitation competitions.

The Under 16 Squad plays in the RAF League and the National Under 16 Cup competition.
